Lauren is a proud New Orleanian who has lived abroad and in NYC. Currently, as a Program Director, she’s dedicated to building a thriving, socially-conscious economy for her hometown. Through her work at Porch & Okra Consulting, she helps teams with inclusive leadership coaching and nonprofit consulting. With a background in anthropology, Lauren has a deep love for art, culture, style, and music, always seeking nourishment in all aspects of well-being. A self-proclaimed foodie, she enjoys cooking, exploring the outdoors, and traveling the world. Her published work delves into sustainability, race, and culture in New Orleans restaurants.

When not leading Wild Terrains x New Orleans trips, you can find Lauren perfecting pasta dishes and exploring the world alongside her adventurous 10-year-old son, Tenzin.
